Fibroblasts isolated from a young (Y) or old (O) donor are cultured in the presence or absence of the flax extract (YT and OT). Boxplots (n = 2 for samples not treated and n = 3 for treated samples) ± SD are reported. Statistics: analysis of variance (ANOVA) adjusted post-hoc Tukey-Kramer tests for pairwise comparisons (* < 0.05).
