Submission Guidelines
Authors are expected to prepare manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines. Key requirements include:
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English and submitted electronically via the journal’s submission portal.
- Each submission must include a structured abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references formatted per journal style.
- Figures, tables, and supplementary materials should be high-resolution and appropriately labeled.
- Authors must disclose conflicts of interest, funding sources, and contributions.
- Ethical approvals must be stated for research involving human participants, animals, or biosafety risks.
Important Dates
Submissions are accepted year-round. Accepted manuscripts are published on a rolling basis as Early Online Articles before appearing in a scheduled issue. Special issues on emerging topics may include submission deadlines announced through separate calls.
Publication Fees
To support open-access dissemination and journal operations, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is required upon acceptance. Details are outlined in the Article Processing Charges section of this website. Waivers and discounts are available for authors from low- and middle-income countries or in cases of demonstrated financial need.
